Kozhikode enjoys an idyllic setting, being located in the state of Kerala it is surrounded by the Arabian Sea on the west and mesmeric peaks of the Wayanad hills on the east. Its beauty is enhanced by the presence of an old lighthouse and the two crumbling piers that run into the sea. Marine water aquarium is an added attraction here.
